This year, 5,000 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with a brain tumor, and they are the deadliest form of childhood cancer in the United States.

Thanks to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF)-funded researchers like Dr. Will Parsons, the path toward better treatments and cures has advanced. Dr. Parsons’ work studying the genetics of pediatric brain tumors has laid groundwork for future work that led to more accurate molecular descriptions of brain tumors.
