Let’s kickstart this week with Team Belgium’s highlights ⬇️

#1 hanne__desmet was just 0”28 short of another 🥇 in the 1500m at the World Short Track Tour in Seoul, 🇰🇷. She didn’t leave empty-handed, adding a 🥉 in the 500m to her collection. ⛸️

#2 Following last weeks’ victory, European champion Kim Meylemans claimed another 🥉 medal in the Skeleton World Cup in 🇱🇻. 🛷 

#3 The belgianbullets finished 6th in the 2nd heat of the World Cup two-man bobsleigh in Sigulda, 🇱🇻, the best World Cup result for kellyvanpetegem . 🛷

#4 armandmarchant14 secured an impressive 11th place in the World Cup slalom race in Val d’Isère, 🇫🇷, highlighted by a third-fastest time in the 2nd run. ⛷️ 

#5 maximiliendrion kicked off his season with a solid 5th place in the non-Olympic vertical and a top-8 sprint performance at the World Cup in Courcheval, 🇫🇷. ⛷️ 

#6 Career-best alert! maya_cloe delivered her finest performance, finishing 12th in the pursuit at the Hochfilzen Biathlon World Cup. 🎿 

#7 From outdoor to indoor. At the World Aquatics Championships (25m), l_henveaux smashed multiple 🇧🇪 records, claiming 🥉 in the 200m freestyle and a 4th place in the 400m freestyle. 🏊‍♂️ 

#8 Elsewhere at the Danish 25m Championships, roos_vanotterdijk made history by breaking 4 🇧🇪 records, including the Olympic 100m freestyle and becoming the first woman to break the 58” barrier in the 100m individual medley. 🏊‍♀️ 

#9 gillesthomas_ proved once again that he and Ermitage Kalone are a duo to keep an eye on.  With an impressive 3rd place in the Geneva Grand Prix, they mark another important moment in their young careers. 🏇

#10 Despite a 3-0 loss to defending champion 🇪🇬, the women’s squash team made history by claiming a historic 🥉 medal at the World Squash Team Championships in Hong Kong.
