Earlier this afternoon, Penn State University  President Neeli Bendapudi moderated a panel focused on AI and Pennsylvania’s opportunity economy. As the most economically diverse state in the country, Pennsylvania is filled with potential. 

The panel, featuring Rick Siger, Secretary of Community & Economic Development for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and Abby Smith, President & CEO of TeamPA, discussed how small businesses, educational institutions, and communities can leverage AI to unlock new opportunities. Whether it's laying the groundwork for infrastructure or using existing AI applications, the panel highlighted how AI can drive access, innovation, and economic growth across the state.
