At The Global Impact Forum 2024, Penn State students Zach Walnock, Javier Pozo, and Vishnu Venugopal showcased their AI and machine learning expertise, developed through the Nittany AI Alliance. They took on leadership roles in the Nittany AI Student Society, led winning teams in the Nittany AI Challenge, and participated in the Nittany AI Advance program.

Walnock, a double major in computer science and mathematics, highlighted how his experience with the Nittany AI Alliance paved the way for an AI engineering internship at Cranium, where he worked on AI applications in security. Pozo, a computer science major, valued the networking opportunities at TGIF and aims to stay at the forefront of AI development.

Daren Coudriet, director of the Alliance, emphasized that these hands-on experiences help students develop technical and soft skills, making them valuable assets to companies like Cranium and contributing to AI-driven economic growth.
