Happy Founders' Day, Penn State! 🎉

On February 22, 1855, the Pennsylvania State Legislature officially chartered the Farmers’ High School of Pennsylvania, marking the beginnings of what we now know as Penn State. The institution underwent several name changes, becoming the Agricultural College of Pennsylvania in 1862, then Pennsylvania State College in 1874, and finally, in 1953, it was named Pennsylvania State University.
