For our hospital, community education for suicide prevention is an ongoing mission. Each September, we increase these efforts further to join the national conversation in recognition of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Yesterday, our staff wore teal and purple and got together to share a message of hope for our community. 

You are strong. 
You are important. 
You are enough. 
You matter. 

Depression and suicide can impact anyone, at any time. You are not alone. Help is always available. 

This month, we will continue to share resources, facts, warning signs, and how to access support. We hope you will join in sharing resources to help educate on this vital topic and break the stigma that exists in reaching out for help, for anyone who may be struggling.
