The Orlando Pride are heading to their first-ever NWSL Championship after a 3-2 win against the KC Current in the semi finals.

This win follows a stellar season, where the Orlando Pride claimed the #NWSLShield as the league’s top regular-season team.

Sunday’s semi final match snapped the KC Current’s 10-match unbeaten streak, bringing their 2024 season to a close. Despite the defeat, the #KCCurrent had a historic season:

• opened the first stadium in the world purpose-built for a women’s professional sports team in March 2024
• set franchise single-season records in wins (16), total points (55), and shutouts (9)
• broke a NWSL record for total goals in a season (57)
• took home the #NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup & The Women’s Cup
