WISE Las Vegas is proud to celebrate our very own Mentorship Co-Chair, coachyvonnewade, named Nevada State University’s first-ever Athletic Director on Monday! 💫

From her standout days as a four-time Big Eight champ at the University of Colorado (and Hall of Famer!) to representing Japan in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games, Yvonne has built a legacy of excellence, mentorship, and impact.🏃‍♀️🏅

With leadership experience at CSN and UNLV, she now brings her vision to Nevada State—championing equity, innovation, and student-athlete success.

Her next chapter begins July 1, with women’s flag football and men’s track & field launching next spring.
