## Caption

It was invaluable for members in our team to attend the AEIMN Workshop | Emergency Response at Racing and Equestrian Events 🩺 at Massey University's Large Animal Training Unit on 9/10 May — learning from and connecting with the passionate individuals in our communities who respond to incidents involving animals. 

A simple key takeaway was to:

Plan together
Train together
Respond together

There is more work to be done to respond effectively to race day incidents, and we're up for the challenge!

We enjoyed catching up with people representing some of our equine welfare partners, including New Zealand Bloodstock, Cambridge Equine Hospital, NZTR, Harness Racing New Zealand, Massey University Veterinary Emergency Response Team, Rodney Animal Rescue, and the Racing Integrity Board.
