In emotional testimony, #Cassie revealed harrowing details of the alleged abuse she suffered during her decade-long relationship with #Diddy. She told jurors that by the time she ended the relationship in 2018, she had post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), was experiencing blackouts and sleepwalking.

Cassie testified about a 2018 incident with Combs, stating after meeting her for dinner in Malibu under the pretense of closure, he forced his way into her Los Angeles apartment and sexually assaulted her. Despite pleading with him to leave, he ignored her requests. She admitted that they had a consensual encounter afterward, explaining, “You just don’t turn feelings off… like, I didn’t hate him.”

She testified that in early 2023 while filming a music video, she began experiencing severe flashbacks. The trauma reached a breaking point when she returned home and told her husband, #AlexFine, “You don’t need me here anymore,” before attempting to walk into traffic. Her husband intervened, and she soon entered trauma therapy and rehabilitation.

Later that year, in November 2023, Cassie filed a civil lawsuit against Combs for $30 million, alleging years of sexual assault and abuse. The case was settled within 24 hours for $20 million.
