Students, faculty and researchers came together with the optica.ncu Student Chapter to present the critical impact of light science on our lives, from communication, medicine, energy and more.

Expert R.P. Tandon provided students with key insights into the International Day of Light and its connection with the beginning of modern photonics - The first successful operation of the laser by Theodore Maiman on 16 May 1960.
