Look: your backswing guarantees you NOTHING!

But…

❌ If your golf swing tends to be steep on the way down, it’s wise to check the backswing. If you’re taking the club back inside and flat, it’s hard (not impossible though) to be shallow

✅ This drill is fun, and it can help you keep the forearms more closed, set the club more vertically in the backswing, and in essence take it back steeper or more on plane. Could help you get the downswing in a 👌 spot!
