When we first heard Bob’s story the way he turned heartbreak into purpose, blankets into hope we knew we had to share it. 

So when he agreed to fly out to be part of Selling San Diego, we were honestly honored.

Sackcloth & Ashes was born out of one of the darkest seasons of Bob’s life. 

His mom, once the hardest-working person he knew, ended up on the streets after a string of losses and battles with addiction. 

Bob grieved her while she was still alive.  But that grief became a seed.

He started a blanket company that gives back to shelters across the country one blanket at a time. 

And years later, against all odds, his mom got sober, graduated a recovery program, and today... she’s thriving.

It’s not just a story about blankets. 

It’s about what’s possible when we keep showing up, even when we’re tired.  Even when we’re heartbroken.
