## Caption

Citrus + spirits to create the perfect summer dessert🍊

Ingredients:
-3 grapefruits sliced in half and carved
- 1 cup fresh grapefruit juice
- 2 & 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 oz. triple sec
- 1 oz. Aperol

Steps: 
1. Slice three grapefruits in half then carve the insides (be careful around the stem as you don’t want to create a hole). Place the grapefruit pulp in a mesh strainer and juice until you have 1 cup of fresh grapefruit juice
2. Set grapefruit juice to the side
3. In a pot over medium heat, add heavy cream and sugar
4. Bring to a medium boil for about 3 minutes. You don’t want the heat too high, or for your mixture to burn. Continuously stir your heavy cream and sugar
5. After 3 minutes, remove from heat then add your fresh grapefruit juice, triple sec, and Aperol. 
6. Whisk until well combined
7. To prepare your grapefruit cups, place in a baking dish or any tray that will keep them standing and stable
8. Pour your mixture into the grapefruit cups and cover with saran wrap. 
9. Freeze for about 3-4 hours until stiff
10. Add a sprinkle of orange zest and granulated sugar for topping and enjoy!✨🍊
