Week 6: Favorite Book 📖

This week’s challenge takes us to our favorite book. When I think of the category “favorite book” I don’t think of something specific. I think of how a favorite book can make us feel. It can make us forget our troubles, take us to new worlds, and make us feel like we’re best friends with the main character. It’s a familiar feeling that we’re drawn to time and time again.

I wanted this series with s.mariecore to acknowledge how lost we can get in our favorite stories. How those stories can take us to new places in our minds. How comfortable and at ease we are with our favorite stories.

The first photo was made with 10 total different photos. I had Erik hold the paper in front of my camera and he’d wave it all around the frame. Made it easy to compose. The next composite is two photos with one being a photo of just the book.

We also had some visitors during our shoot - some deer! You can see them in the second to last video. 😌 Overall it was a great day at Alum Rock Park but I’m especially proud of the first photo in the set.
