As we celebrate the Class of 2025, we’d like to highlight one of our Trip Leaders, Jackie Veatch.

Jackie joined Rutgers Rec in Fall 2019 as a student trip leader, a role she held for nearly five years. She graduated in Summer 2024 with a Doctorate in Oceanography and returned to NJ this week for her commencement ceremony—and a special sunset kayaking trip to capture her grad photos, Recreation stole and all.
