Alison Rumfitt is one of the authors behind the 1993 collection of the Eden Book Society alongside Grady Hendrix, John Darnielle, Nina Allan, Rowan Hisayo Buchanan, and Chikodili Emelumadu.

Alison Rumfitt's debut, Tell Me I'm Worthless, was written in her childhood bedroom during the first COVID lockdown. Her writing plumbs the depths of desire and political belief: her sophomore novel Brainwyrms took this to the extreme with a tale of parasites and conspiracy. Recently she adapted the Doctor Who episode Space Babies for the page, and she is working on a new book primarily about motherhood.

The Eden Book Society is live on Kickstarter now and we just passed 80% of our target.
