Carne Asada Shared Toast

Sourdough loaf cut in half lengthwise then topped with leftover adobo sauce, carne asada and cheese (monterey jack, queso blanco, cheddar) then baked in the oven at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Crisp up the cheese with either a kitchen torch or broil for 1 minute. Finish with avocado, hot sauce + cilantro and/or sour cream, jalapeños and guacamole

This is one way I like to use up any extra leftover carne asada and sauce from taco night — since it’s on a bread boat it’s also great for sharing too! Hope you enjoy!
