Sourdough toast topped with sliced honey crisp apples, castellousa Aged Havarti cheese, homemade fig jam plus a drizzle of honey #castellopartner

For the fig jam, add a pound of chopped figs and coat with ¼ cup of sugar then add juice of 2 lemons and ½ cup of water simmering for 10 minutes until reduced

For the toast, grill a piece of sourdough in a skillet. Meanwhile, slice a honey crisp apple and the Aged Havarti - it’s a super versatile cheese that’s sharp, yet bold and creamy, adding the perfect flavor and texture to this toast. Finish by topping with the fig jam and a drizzle of honey

This toast was so good and could easily be recreated with crostini as an appetizer too! The flavor balance between the apple, cheese and fig jam is incredible — hope you enjoy!
