Congratulations to the Finnish–Swedish unit KAJ, who will represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland! 🎉 🇸🇪🇨🇭
 
After a six-week run, Melodifestivalen, the Swedish national selection for Eurovision, culminated with Saturday’s nail-biting grand finale at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm.
 
The winning song, ’Bara bada bastu’ (Let’s just sauna) – written by Kevin Holmström, Jakob Norrgård, Robert Skowronski, Kristoffer Strandberg, Anderz Wrethov and Axel Åhman – scored the most votes from the Swedish TV audience. 🙌
 
When entering the Eurovision stage in May, KAJ members Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgård will break Sweden’s decades-long tradition of sending English-language entries to Eurovision! 🤩
 
🇫🇮 KAJ performs ’Bara bada bastu’ in the Vörå dialect, a Swedish dialect in Finland. The song celebrates the joy of Finnish sauna culture, which is also reflected in the steamy, timber-clad staging!
