🍂 Autumn in Sweden means apple season! Here’s our recipe for Swedish apple crumble, ‘smulpaj’. 🍏🥧
 
Preheat oven to 225°C. Grease a pan.
 
Ingredients:
🍎 4 apples
🥣 130 g plain flour
🥄 50 g rolled oats
🧈 100 g butter (room temperature)
🍬 2 tbsp white sugar
🌰 Ground cinnamon
 
Remove the cores of the apples, then slice the apples. Put the slices in the pan and sprinkle with ground cinnamon and sugar. ✨
 
Mix flour, oats, sugar. Add butter and mix to a crumbly mass, using your fingers. 👩‍🍳 Crumble the dough on top of the apple slices.
 
Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes. ⏲️
 
Serve with custard or ice cream. Enjoy! 😋
