NHL Draft⚔️
London Knights

The 2023-2024 NHL Draft, hosted at the iconic Sphere in Las Vegas, marked an exciting milestone for the London Knights as several talented players found new homes in the NHL. Leading the way was Sam Dickinson, a highly skilled 18-year-old defenseman, who was selected 11th overall in the first round by the San Jose Sharks. Known for his solid defensive play and ability to contribute offensively, Dickinson's selection reflects his potential to make a significant impact at the professional level.

Joining Dickinson in the first round was fellow Knight, Sam O'Reilly, an 18-year-old forward known for his offensive prowess and playmaking abilities. O'Reilly was picked 32nd overall by the Edmonton Oilers, who acquired the pick through a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers. Additionally, Jared Woolley, a versatile two-way defenseman, was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the sixth round, 164th overall. Rounding out the Knights' selections, William Nicholl, a physical forward, was chosen by the Edmonton Oilers in the seventh round, 196th overall. Each player's selection is a testament to their hard work and dedication, and they look forward to bringing their talents to the NHL stage.

I had the opportunity to take full creative direction on this project, from research and planning to shooting and designing. It was an enjoyable endeavour, and I want to congratulate the players on their achievements and thank them for their contributions. To those Knights who were eligible but not drafted, keep pushing forward and enjoy the journey. As part of this project, I also worked on photography and graphics for the undrafted players, which you can view at https://wiltsmedia.com/
