Not every dog in rescue is able to attend adoption events.💔 

For some, big crowds, other dogs, and all the excitement can be overwhelming. These dogs may be reactive—𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮. Reactivity isn’t a bad word. It can mean needing more space, more time to feel comfortable, or struggling to express themselves in busy environments. It doesn’t make them any less amazing.

These beautiful, loving dogs often fly under the radar because they can’t make it to events that bring other adoptables face-to-face with families. And many of them have been waiting months—some over a year—for their forever home.😢

Dogs who need a single-pet home still make wonderful companions. They just want to be your one-and-only, and they’ll reward you with so much love, loyalty, and devotion.
