Joffrey Switzerland faculty, Josie Walsh is the Founder, Artistic Director, and Choreographer of BalletRED in Los Angeles and leads the Joffrey Ballet School summer intensives in LA and San Francisco. A former dancer with Joffrey Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and Zurich Ballet, she is known for her bold fusion of classical and contemporary styles. Josie’s choreography has earned her numerous accolades, including Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch,” five YAGP Outstanding Choreographer Awards, and features on NBC’s World of Dance, America’s Got Talent, and SYTYCD. She is a sought-after master teacher and creator of a holistic ballet training method, and her work spans stage, film, TV, and fashion, with credits ranging from Disney to Red Bull to Gala De Danza.⁠
