For years, there was a dominant narrative that “no one watches women’s sports”... but it was never lack of demand, rather underinvestment (and thus diminished supply).

The same could’ve been said for a sports bar that only showed women’s sports – until thesportsbrapdx 🔥

Owner and chef Jenny Nguyen founded The Sports Bra when she realized she was tired of watching the WNBA on silent in every other spot.

She wanted a place of her own where fans could gather, build community... and make *a lot* of noise about who was winning that night.

My family foundation 776foundation invested to take the The Sports Bra nationwide bc I see the vision in that.

There’s a movement happening. Women’s sports have created a frenzy.  And where there’s a devoted fanbase, there’s always going to be a great business opportunity.

Nobody says it better than Jenny herself, though:

“What we’re doing is more than just food. More than drinks. More than sports. It’s something that matters to people.”
