With the game on the line, Sean Taylor delivered a crushing hit that kept Dallas out of field goal range and cemented our Monday Night Miracle.

This was also the night my mom was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

I watched the game hoping it would at least be a distraction. It was just more depressing. We were down 13-0 with four minutes left in the game looking at a 4th and 15.

Against all odds, eighttodanine caught back to back touchdowns. We were only up by one as Dallas marched down to get in field goal range -- Sean put an end to that.

He gave me hope exactly when I needed it most. That hope kept our family going through the worst of it because in life and sports, it's never over until it's over.

That was over a decade ago and I still get fired up by it. Gotta make the most of this one life. Always fight. Never quit.
