We’ve crossed the £20,000 mark. The Society thanks you — each and every one of you who stepped forward, signed your name in the ledger, and joined us in reviving this long-lost institution of horror.

Our archivist has been hard at work cataloguing the mildewed and fire damaged stacks. If we reach our first stretch goal all backers will receive an exclusive short story by Eden author Caitlin T. Vale — a chilling, previously unreleased piece from the Society’s archive. This will be delivered as a digital download.

Ex Libris Embossed Editions

All physical copies of the 1993 Eden release will be upgraded with an embossed Eden ex libris plate on the interior title page. A mark to prove you were there when the doors were reopened.

This Kickstarter-only seal will never be used again and we will destroy the embossing plate after the books have been stamped. This way you will have proof that your editions are from the Kickstarter.

An enamel pin featuring the Eden seal. For those who wish to display their allegiance to the Society more publicly. 

Eden Audio Drama Download: "The Last Days of Connie Eden"

A 40-minute horror drama drawn from the recovered archives: an unsettling recording detailing the last days of Connie Eden who was the Editor of the Society in 1993.

She died in 1996 and her body was found in the Manchester Ship Canal. A post mortem revealed excess levels of alcohol in her blood along with other intoxicants causing her death to be ruled as misadventure. Earlier in the day Constance had been visiting several alternative and unorthodox bookcollectors and was reportedly looking for the Codex Interitus. 

Available as a digital download. Headphones recommended. Lights optional.
