Next weekend, Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew (wabber) will return to one of Canada’s largest powwows, Manito Ahbee (manitoahbee), where he’ll be hosting a Grass Dance vs. Prairie Chicken Dance Special on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

The Anishinaabe leader is no stranger to Manito Ahbee — he’s attended many times over the years. Powwow Committee members told #ITV their relationship with Kinew is “family-like” and goes way back. 👏🏼
