Native representation will be featured in upcoming film, #Rust 🎥🐎

The trailer for the new Alec Baldwin-led Western film ‘Rust’ has been released and showcases the talent and representation of multiple Indigenous actors.

According to IMDb, Sylver Belcourt plays a Kiowa girl. A Facebook news source revealed that Mack Momberg, Tyler Stillsmoking, and Casey Bird appear as warriors. Momberg shared that he filmed a small speaking role in Kiowa while on set in Montana in 2023.

In 2021, Baldwin was involved in a fatal on-set shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. He was later cleared of criminal charges, though the tragedy still looms over the film's history.
