I’m going to get really vulnerable here. 

I haven’t taken many photos over the last few years, even personal ones. A lot has happened. I felt like I was on top of the world physically in my 30’s then at 40 I got knocked off my feet with a severe leg injury, 10 surgeries later I felt like I had been drug through the mud. Not only was I exhausted but my body changed dramatically being in my 40’s, aging and also not walking while battling injury. 

Being an athlete I was used to feeling strong & confident and although I felt confident in my career and where my life has gone, physically I have struggled looking in the mirror over the last few years.

But, I decided to book this shoot to gain my power back. To not let my insecurities win. And I’m so happy I did because I was pleasantly surprised with how they turned out. I hired a dream team and we captured me now, not me 5 years ago before everything happened, me now. And I’m really proud of her. ❤️

If you’re feeling insecure, don’t let it win. It will try to, you are stronger than the insecure parts of yourself. You decide what you want for your life. You got this. ❤️
