At just 19, Martin was a college student when an excruciating headache changed everything. He slipped into a coma, and when he woke up five days later, he was paralyzed.

A rare complication from Epstein-Barr had attacked his brain and spinal cord. It took months of intense rehab for Martin to relearn how to walk.

Today, he’s a father, healthcare executive, and training for the Boston Marathon — as part of #TeamReeve. He runs for those living with paralysis. For the breakthroughs of tomorrow. For hope.
