Legendary Team USA women’s hockey captain Hilary Knight, annoced that the 2026 Milan Olympics will ber her fifth and final Games. Enjoying every moment. 🤩

Knight most recently led the U.S. women to a World Championship title, defeating Canada to claim her 10th gold medal at the tournament. Already the career leader in points and goals at the World Championships, she added the all-time assists record during the event as well. She leaves international play as one of the sport’s most decorated and dominant players, highlighted by her being named the IIHF’s inaugural Female Player of the Year in 2023. 💪

At the Olympics, Knight won gold at the 2018 Games in South Korea and earned three silver medals across her career. She’s coming off a PWHL season, where the Boston captain tied for the league lead with 29 points (15 goals, 14 assists) in 30 games. Though she’s stepping away from international play, Knight says she plans to continue her PWHL career. 👏

“It’s time,”said Knight. “I have grown up in this program and it’s just given me so much. I’m at peace. I just have this feeling that it’s time. And I’m grateful that — hopefully I can stay healthy and everything — I can go out when I’d like to be done. That is such a privilege that only a handful of competitors get.” 🥹
