Every semester, some of our Journalism & Media students in the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media and CAPLIN News/CAPLIN Media participate in a hands-on internship experience in Washington D.C. In alignment with CARTA’s “learn by doing” philosophy, the Caplin School’s mission and vision set by fiu_carta_dean to prepare career-ready journalists and media professionals. Students in this internship program work hard daily to produce stories, cover events, and develop their skills.
