Something I’ve been thinking about while I’ve been in Bali and want to share for anyone coming who is seeking out a more authentic experience while you’re here 🍃 it’s what I get asked most, and I love sharing some lesser known places with you so I want to show you how too find them

Copilot is a great way to find more interesting, authentic and off-the-beaten track places that are tailored to what *you* want to do. Google will show you the top spots everyone goes to, social media will show you the most instagrammable / trending places if you click a hashtag or search for a location. But with copilot you can find more genuine and local experiences. Tell it exactly what you’re looking for and find the answers that you want, not just what’s most popular. That’s why I find it so helpful for my travels, I don’t want the usual travel hotspots and busy places - I wanna do what people ‘aren’t’ doing. And that can be hard to find 😂 

Here are the places from the video:
• Learn how to make Canang Sari, daily offerings that you’ll see at temples, shrines and outside buildings every day. 
• Find a Balinese dance performance 
• Tibu Sampi Waterfall is super quiet, there was no one else there! Sing Sing Angin Waterfall Is nearby and so beautiful & hidden away
• Lake canoeing at Lake Tamblingan 
• Watch sunrise from mount Batur or Agung (the second is much more challenging but much quieter!)
• Take part in a purification ceremony, or Melukat. The one in the video is at Tirta empul

If you get the chance to try that last one I would definitely do it!
