“WHY I DANCE” - Jackie Caldwell 🌟🌼

Jackie is a sophomore kinesiology major concentrating on physical activity and health. Read below to learn why dance is so impactful on Jackie’s life! ⬇️

“I started dancing at 4 years old! I love connecting with music and bringing out aspects of music that people may not hear without seeing a visual. I cannot hear music without seeing choreography. It is my form of self-expression, my outlet, and my favorite form of physical activity! I am simply obsessed with the process of creating and exploring movement. I dance because I am lucky enough to be able to. I thank God for giving me an instrument to dance with and I ultimately praise Him and His creation through dancing!”

The dance courses offered in the LSU Dance program can count as kinesiology activity classes!
