History Monday! Featuring a 1915-1916 advertisement for the Chicago Little Theatre, which operated from a 91-seat theater on the 4th floor of the Fine Arts Building from 1912 - 1917. One of the Little Theatre's founders, Ellen Van Volkenburg, was a pioneer in the art of puppetry. Fitting, with manual_cinema's Christmas Carol now playing in the Studebaker Theater and the chipuppetfest  hosting their Puppet Hub in the FAB next month! The innovative spirit of the Chicago Little Theatre is alive and well here in the Fine Arts Building.
