Shakta Kaur is a Level 1 & 2 Lead Teacher Trainer, a Level 3 Teacher & Breathwalk® Instructor Trainer. In 2003 she opened Kundalini Yoga in the Loop in Chicago, IL, USA. From 2004-2008, Shakta represented 3HO/KRI on the Yoga Alliance (YA) Board of Directors as Board Chair & Interim CEO. She’s taught both nationally & internationally including Europe, India, Australia and Canada. 

Currently Shakta’s teaching hybrid classes, workshops, and special events (both virtually and in-studio). Her ‘Shakta-Shakti’ video library subscription allows you to study with her on your own schedule, too! 

Prior to her introduction to Kundalini Yoga, Shakta founded both Women in Franchising (WIF) and the American Franchisee Association (AFA). Shakta seamlessly combines her 35+ years’ business experience with her passion for the teachings to serve 3HO communities worldwide.
