History Monday! In this advertisement from ca. 1913-1915, you’ll find a list of theaters in the Chicago Loop using the Simplex Projector made by the Precision Machine Company. Take a look at numbers 11 and 12 to see the Fine Arts Theater and Studebaker Theater! It’s incredible to see that 110 years ago, in the earliest days of film, the theaters at the Fine Arts Building were using state of the art technology!
