✍🏼 How to have a great weekend in Montana with VW even when it’s raining:

Fly in on delta. It will be so green it will look like Ireland as much as Montana. 

Stay at armoryhotel, the only AAA Four 💎 property in town, and if you’re musically inclined: borrow one of their Gibson guitars. Did you know that each acoustic gibsonguitar is handmade in Bozeman? 

Stare longingly at The Thing, one of my favorite VW vehicles, and wish the weather was good enough for a ride in it! 

Close out montanaaleworks after trying one of their Bison steaks. Chase it with a Huckleberry Cream Ale. 

Head to tuneupbarbzn speakeasy for more Huckleberry, this time in cocktail form, and excellent live music via thedeadanddown. 

Wake up, enjoy a delicious breakfast in the hotel, and hop in your new Avocado Green 2025 VW Tiguan SEL R-Line for a half day road trip with emilygoesplaces. 

Halfway through, stop in the Shield’s River Valley at Glenn’s Shopping Center - one of the oldest, continuously operating independent grocery stores in Montana - for road trip snacks. Then go next door to twodoorsdowncoffeebakery for some caffeine. The lavender latte is 😋. Keep your eye out for the Mayor, she might even be the one to serve you coffee! Pause to play their piano. 

Get back on the road, and say hi to a caravan of vintage  1920s vehicles as they pass you. Pause one more time, to make friends with some cows or horses. 

Reluctantly return to Bozeman & catch your flight home.
