#TSRTrialWatch: WHEW! After #KidCudi’s direct testimony, attorney #BrianSteel took the stand to conduct Cudi’s cross-examination.

During Cross, Steel focused on discrediting Cudi’s initial testimony, in which he said he “knew” Diddy had “something to do with” his Porsche being set on fire due to his relationship with Cassie. Steel questioned Cudi about his SoHo house meeting with Diddy, which Cudi said was “calm.” Steel confirmed with Cudi that both he and Diddy were “confused” during that meeting because Cassie had “played both of them.” Cudi agreed with that statement just before leaving the stand. Steel stated that Cassie was living a “double life,” insinuating that she was not honest about seeing both men at the same time.

In his earlier testimony, Kid Cudi said Cassie previously told him that she broke up with Diddy due to violence in their relationship. He said he did not know that Cassie went back to Diddy at any point, and was hurt about their break up. Once Diddy found out about Cassie’s relationship with Cudi, he allegedly became angry.
