Before her Dakar triumph, Jutta Kleinschmidt was an engineer at BMW. With a passion for speed, she started out on a motorbike and discovered the rally-raid in 1988... and never left it 🏜️

In 1997, she became the first woman to win a stage of the Dakar. In 1998, she reached the final podium (third).

In 2001, she became a legend: 1st woman to win the Dakar Rally in the overall car classification, at the wheel of a Mitsubishi 4x4 🏆

In a man’s world, she set the standard 👏
