After a week of celebrating our incredible Joffrey Switzerland faculty, the excitement for August is only growing! Under the guidance of our dedicated and highly experienced faculty, dancers will be encouraged to work hard, self-reflect, and undergo deep analysis of their individual strengths, all aimed at enhancing their performance and building a resilient, strong technique. We look forward to this week of growth, where discipline meets inspiration, and hard work meets artistry!⁠

Our musician for our Joffrey Switzerland Summer Intensive is the extraordinary Ray Leslee. Ray Leslee is an award-winning composer and pianist whose theatrical works have been produced by leading companies such as Playwrights Horizons, Steppenwolf, and the Kennedy Center. His concert music has been commissioned by orchestras including the Buffalo Philharmonic, Atlanta Symphony, and the National Symphony of Ukraine. A former staff pianist for institutions like Juilliard and Dance Theatre of Harlem, he is a recipient of the Richard Rodgers, Barrymore, and Ovation Awards. Ray is currently developing a new musical, Maya Songs, based on the poetry of Maya Angelou.⁠
