#Sonder10 - Finding Our Power: 2021-2024
Navigating a global pandemic with young programs and big ambitions presented a challenge, but one we faced head on. In fact, some of our most impactful initiatives and proudest milestones emerged during this time.

🚀 In 2021, we launched the early version of what’s now our #EducationIsPower program—sponsoring and mentoring hundreds of secondary students today. It all began with just 50 students in Malawi.

💧 That same year, we celebrated a major water milestone: our 25th well in April 2021, followed by our 50th well just two years later in late 2023.

🎶In early 2023, came time for our first benefit concert in California, aptly named #WaterIsHerRight, in honor of women in our partner countries who bear the overwhelming burden of water scarcity. The second edition in 2024 raised over $16,000, growing in reach and impact! 

⚡With momentum building, another first was in order: a solar-powered water distribution system for a public boarding high school in Malawi—bringing clean water to over 600 students and teachers, solving a critical sanitation challenge, and restoring time to the school day.
