2021. the year that taught me SO much. i’ve learned to believe in myself, even if the people around me don’t. i learned that if i have a dream, i should run at it as hard and as fast as i possibly can. i’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on this year and how thankful i am for the opportunities it brought.

i started out the year strong, releasing my first movie on february 25. i worked harder on that movie than anything i have ever done, and i’m forever grateful for haegerstory trusting me with such a large responsibility!

i wish i could say that my journey with film this year has been only a positive experience. unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case, and i’ve learned the hard way that growth (at least for me) isn’t linear. for me, making videos is one of the most draining but rewarding things there is. the people closest to me didn’t have faith in me, and i started to lose faith in myself. the idea of “what if they were right? maybe i can’t do this.” was constantly playing in my mind.

things really kicked into gear this past summer. if you know me, you know all i talk about is summer. about tnriverjam . about crovemedia . about PBR and codywnance . i won’t get into detail, but those experiences and people have changed. my. life. i’m a better person because of it. this summer was the first time i’ve ever felt truly seen, valued, and supported for what i do. so thank you.

so ready to take on the new year and all that it will bring. grateful for where i’m at, excited about where i’m going.

2022, let’s do this. ❤️‍🔥
