Thank you Lord for this season and using this team to be a reflection of you and your goodness. He gave us this platform to not only show our abilities, but to bring others to Him through our sport. I can confidently say that I gave it my all, and I’d do it again for this team. This year was the hardest of my career, but yet the most rewarding. Playing through fractures, a busted up face/mouth, plastic surgery, 2 concussions, a severe gum infection, a liquid diet(loved the ice cream part), and a completely torn UCL wasn’t easy. There were so many times where I questioned if it was even worth it to keep going this year. When I thought I couldn’t go anymore my teammates and coaches walked along side me and picked me up. Showing up to the field was my favorite part of the day and my teammates/staff became apart of my why. Though these injuries have tested my faith, I know that God is still good and He has a plan to turn this around for my good. I am so thankful for this program and the lasting impact it has had on my life already. This year has been truly life changing, and I look forward to being able to spend my last year of eligibility in a Liberty uniform next year. Lord willing, I will be back from UCL surgery stronger and ready to go by spring. Thank you for all of the love and support! I guess 6 really is my lucky number ;) #6thyear
