Australia is heading into winter which makes it the perfect time of year to visit the tropical Far North Queensland. 

Temperatures will be lovely and the skies will be clear 😍

And the waters won’t be swarming with dangerous jellyfish 🪼

The itinerary:

Day 1: Start in Cairns and drive up to the Daintree Rainforest. Camp overnight by the beach.

Day 2: Watch the sunrise, hike Mt Sorrow Ridge trail. Drive back down to Cairns.

Day 3: Crystal Cascades waterfall hike. Drive to campsite near Wallomon Falls.

Day 4: Hike around Wallomon - up to you how far you go (and watch out for the horseflies that BITE). Drive to hike at Mt Halifax. Drive to Townsville to stay overnight.

Day 5: Visit Magnetic Island.

Day 6: Drive to Airlie Beach. Chill at the beach.

Day 7: Whitehaven beach tour and snorkel tour.

An absolute MUST SEE is Whitehaven beach. 

My jaw literally dropped when I saw it 😱

The water is so blue and the sand SO white.
