Hiking to glaciers seems to be becoming more accessible as they recede, which is a bitter sweet feeling.

I love that I can reach them through genuinely reasonable hikes/scrambles but it saddens me to think of how big they once were 😔

Even looking at photos of Wedgemount from a year or two ago the glacier reached the upper lake, of which it now sits many many metres higher.

Still, these hikes were incredible and the views just as impressive 🥾

Both of these glaciers are found in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦
