“I committed to Mizzou on the very last day possible, and in the scramble to find a roommate, a friend introduced me to Alayna. Rush Week flew by, and before I knew it, it was Bid Day. Running home to Kappa was a core memory in itself, but seeing Alayna’s face next to the KKG letters made it even more memorable. I’ve only known Alayna for about six months, and somehow I lived 18 years without her. She is love and joy personified. She lifts me out of every bad mood, always knows the right thing to say, and is effortlessly a true friend. She lights up every room she walks into. She’s dedicated, passionate, intentional, and the kind of friend who goes above and beyond in everything she does. I’m so proud to call her my friend, roommate, and sister. Everyone needs an Alayna Quigley in their life. As we say every time we leave the room—ILY, Roomie!!!”

“I decided on Mizzou super late and was scrambling to pick a roommate for my freshman year. Through an Instagram page and a connection through a family-friend, I found Olivia. Never could I have imagined that I would find a best friend and a sister from a random roommate. Everyone needs an Olivia in their lives. Olivia believes in me, even when I don’t. Olivia makes me laugh, even when I’ve had a day so exhausting that I don’t think it’s possible to even smile. Olivia, I love you more than words and I’m so thankful for you.
