For the last 125 years, we have been leading the way on the journey to a barrier-free Canada. You might even say that every week is #NationalAccessAbilityWeek around here 😊 Here are just some ways we’ve helped to advance accessibility and inclusion over our 125 history: 

- Making transformational discoveries at the Bloorview Research Institute, now home to the highest concentration of childhood disability research in the world 
- Co-founding the Children’s Health Coalition, and working to right-size health care for kids in Ontario through the historic $330 million dollar “Make Kids Count” investment 
- Training the next generation of health care professionals in childhood disability, with over 500 students learning in our hospital every year
