It’s been three months with my raybanmeta and here’s my thoughts:

1. Great for grabbing quick BTS! I tend to forget a lot of times to grab BTS but with these glasses I can grab what I need. Just always need to remember to either tell the glasses to record or press the button to start! 

2. Battery Life. Given that these are the first iteration and they’re a very compact system, the battery life could use some improvement but I can look past this. It’s a bit of a bummer that I have to put them away every so often to charge because I just need to film absolutely everything 🤪

3. Camera Placement and Quality. The biggest thing I had to remember when starting with these is that the lens is on the left side, so you do have to be a little conscious about how you’re looking at something. Just because your eyes are looking that direction, doesn’t mean the glasses are. I have to remember to move my around to properly grab what I need! Now the quality of the camera is fine. It gets the job done. It just has a hard time with exposure of my LCD sometimes if I’m in a darker area. 

4. Comfort. I wear Ray bans daily for my every day glasses so these glasses are super comfortable for me. I also love how you can get these in a prescription if you need them! I should probably do that soon for myself 😅 a thing to note is if you’re going to get the sunglasses, double check the polarization (if you like polarized sunglasses) otherwise you may not be able to see your LCD on some camera models. 

Overall I think this is a great tool for my needs. Even Erik uses them every once in a while to capture video content! I can’t wait to see what new shapes and designs they’ll come out with in the future. 😎
